Vial of Life

The vial of life program gives rescuers immediate access to vital health information for you and your family during an emergency in your home.  We provide you with all necessary materials which include a form, bottle for storing and making form identifiable, and a sticker to alert rescuers that the vial is present in the centralized location in your home.  The bottle goes in your refrigerator door so we know where to find it.  Rescuers are alerted to the vial of life by a sticker we provide for you to place on your front door.

If you or your loved one is unable to communicate with us we will have access to your medical history.  Even if you are able to communicate, the vial of life saves precious time that would be needed to gather medications and other pertinent information.     

To participate in the vial of life program all you need to do is contact us at 303-494-3735 or Chief@rockymountainfire.org.  We will make an appointment to come to your home with the necessary materials.  Let us know how many family members will be participating.  When we arrive we will make sure you understand what the form is asking for and assure the sticker and vial is placed in the correct location.  You can then call us with any further questions or concerns that may arise in the future such as needing a new form.
